More people than ever are flying within Peru. Domestic flights have increased 21 percent in 2011, compared to the same period in 2010. These numbers are based on the first trimester of each year. The total domestic flight traffic in Peru was more than 1.4 million passengers.

Coming in second state was Peruvian Airlines with 16 percent of the domestic flight market during this period, carrying a total of 230,391 passengers. Then Star Peru with 15 percent, Taca Peru with 4 percent, and ATSA with under 1 percent.
